You play as Isaac Clarke, an engineer on the USG Calvin sent to inspect a broken Comm array on the mining ship called 'The USG Ishimura'. The game happens in an over the shoulder 3rd person shooter style camera view, and the heads up display (HUD) is on the back of your character.
